I’m Cassie Day, a seasoned businesswoman, speaker, writer, and community builder, committed to sharing impactful lessons from my diverse experiences to authentically engage, connect, and move audiences.

While The Carers Place wasn’t my first business, it was a profound chapter in my career that underscored my capabilities in navigating complex challenges, supporting community and leading with innovation.

Today, I leverage my extensive experience in business development, advisory, strategy, and leadership to help other business leaders grow and scale sustainably.

This work has earned me recognition from major media outlets like Wormen’s Agenda, Radio 5AA, Channel 9 and ABC Radio, and accolades including a National Leadership Excellence Award.

Last year, I was honoured to have been awarded the 2024 ‘Carer Achievement Award’ as part of the South Australian Community Achievement Awards.

My journey began as a mother and caregiver to a son with complex health and disability needs, which propelled me into entrepreneurship.

I founded The Carers Place; a leading independent Support Coordination Agency within the NDIS ecosystem in South Australia.

Focused on supporting the whole family and community, not only the person with a disability, The Carers Place also became known for its hugely popular events that fostered connection, collaboration and a deeper sense of purpose.

I built this venture from the ground up into a thriving and successful business, and later orchestrated its sale, which was a notable feat in the for-profit for-purpose space.

Now I work with Business Owners and Leaders to grow and scale their businesses and leadership.

It brings me great joy to nurture and positively influence the sustainability and ongoing impact of NDIS Service Providers and the Care Economy through my ‘NDIS State of the Nation Summits’ and Workshops delivered nation wide.
